About the Opportunity This is a newly created role designed to support the business’s growth. As the Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning, analysis and reporting. You will work closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives, partner with stakeholders, support data-driven decision-making and drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare monthly reporting packs, providing insightful commentary on key variances, trends and business performance
- Analyse business performance, cost drivers, profitability and margin trends to support decision-making
- Lead the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes - ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to support financial analysis and commercial evaluation
- Drive process improvements, standardisation and governance across finance systems
- Work closely with the internal stakeholders to add value through reporting, analysis and process improvement
- Provide support across finance projects and business initiatives, including backfill support for the Financial Accountant as required
About You - CA/CPA qualification (essential)
- 3 –5 years of experience in a similar finance, commercial or business partnering role, ideally within FMCG, distribution or a related industry
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- A collaborative team player with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
- Advanced Excel skills, intermediate to advanced financial modelling capability and experience with BI tools; exposure to Phocas or Power BI would be advantageous
