About Us
Retirement living is one of Australia's most meaningful and fastest-growing industries. We're a purpose-driven retirement living business operating communities across Australia. Our people are genuinely committed to supporting older Australians to live well, and we're continuing to grow.
The Role
As a Management Accountant, you'll be the financial partner that the Retirement Living Community Managers rely on — preparing clear, accurate reporting and turning data into decisions that genuinely shape the day-to-day experience of retired Australians. You'll work across a portfolio of Queensland retirement villages, building real relationships with the people who run them — and the residents who call them home.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading the Annual Budget process in collaboration with Community Managers, Operations Managers and Resident Committees
Preparing and presenting financial statements and ad hoc monthly reports to stakeholders
Visiting villages to build relationships with Resident Committees and help resolve financial queries and present budgets
Coordinating audits and ensuring financial statements are finalised within legislated timeframes
Using PowerBI dashboards to perform variance analysis and identify key focus areas
Ensuring accurate coding and maintaining compliant Balance Sheet reconciliations across your communities
Serving as the primary accounting partner for your Community Managers
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who's curious, confident, and enjoys learning. If that sounds like you, read on.
Experience in a similar accounting or finance role — Financial Accountant, Analyst or Management Accountant
A degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA is desirable (or working towards it)
Exposure to Retirement Living, Aged Care or Body Corporate legislation is plus — but not essential
The ability to deliver high-quality financial insights while managing competing priorities
Advanced Excel skills and confidence across financial systems (e.g. TechOne)
What's on Offer
A role with genuine purpose — your work directly supports residents and frontline operations across multi-site environments
Ability to learn new skills and industry legislation
Newstead office with regular social events
Annual salary reviews and a bonus incentive scheme
Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program
Wellbeing benefits including insurance, retail and leisure discounts, annual flu vaccinations and skin checks
Real career development in a growing, purpose-driven industry
