About the role:

Disability Support Workers wanted for Redlands and Capalaba area

Shifts available for a Female Support Worker. Experience with challenging behaviours is necessary. Shifts typically involve afternoon pick up from school and bringing home for the evening routine which includes personal care and meals. Other shifts available for the right person.

We endeavor to support our participants in the community doing what they love to do, whilst supporting the community with their involvement in the lives of people with a disability.

Nursing or Allied Health students are encouraged to apply. We support you by working with your schedule.

Qualifications & experience

• Blue Card

• NDIS Worker Screening Card

• Both Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Card must be held at the time of application

• Up to date Flu and Covid vaccines required

• Driver's license and car

• Cert III in Disability, Aged Care or equivalent

• Acceptable equivalent qualifications include Cert III Community Services, Cert IV Disability, Diploma Social Work, or Nursing qualifications

• Life Experience is taken into consideration

• Valid Australian work visa or citizenship/permanent residency is required for this position.

• Minimum 1 year of disability support experience is required, including family caregiving, personal care, respite care, day programs, residential care, or NDIS provider work
