Our story. It started with a family and their challenge to find disability support that worked for them. They needed more and knew that people with disabilities could have more independence, choice, and control in their lives. The Hireup purpose was born, and now we strive to enable the pursuit of a good life for everyone.

What are we looking for? We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable support workers in Coorparoo, QLD, to join our mission of setting a new standard for support. Hireup is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disability and older Australians, and is committed to high standards of quality.

Seeking candidates with experience in disability support work or similar for an immediate shift requirement. You must be comfortable with and have experience with:

• Manual Handling (hoist, sling)

• Personal care (including toileting)

• Working with pets

Your own reliable transport is required to attend the bookings.

Desirable experience and qualifications:

• Studying or having completed a Social Work qualification

• Certificate 3 or higher in Individual Support, Mental Health, or similar

• Knowledge of or experience supporting people living with Cerebral Palsy and Speech Impairment

• Adaptability: Must be willing to listen, learn, and adapt to the client's specific routines and preferences, and work collaboratively within the team.

• Resilience & Communication: Must be resilient to direct feedback

• High Reliability: Punctuality and consistency are essential. The client relies on support workers to meet their basic daily requirements

Current Shift Availability:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 7:00 am - 9:30 am

• Additional community support shift on Wednesday from 9:30 am - 12 pm (no transport required)

Mandatory Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• NDIS Worker Orientation Module

• Full First Aid

• Right to work within Australia
