About the role

Permanent full-time or part-time opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred oral health services within the School Dental Service as part of Metro North Oral Health Services, providing care across community and hospital settings, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to health promotion, service improvement, and culturally safe care while developing clinical expertise and supporting positive oral health outcomes for the community.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver quality clinical services across a variety of caseloads in a community or hospital setting in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.

  • Accurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement statistics, to facilitate the analysis of service trends.
  • Provide clinical practice supervision for less experienced practitioners, commensurate with the level of experience, as well as direction to assistants, support staff and work experience students, under guidance of senior clinical practitioners.

  • Value driven organisation which provides a work environment that is safe, satisfying, flexible, and promotes a healthy work-life balance
