We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Carpentry Apprentice to join one of our valued clients within the building and construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a long‑term career in carpentry with hands‑on experience across residential and/or commercial projects.

As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified tradespeople, learning the skills required to become a competent carpenter. You will gain practical, on‑the‑job experience while completing your nationally recognised qualification. This apprenticeship is hosted with one of our industry clients, while Building Industry Training will deliver and support the successful completion of the apprenticeship training.

• Assist qualified carpenters with day‑to‑day tasks on site
• Learn and apply carpentry techniques and processes
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements
• Attend and complete all required training and assessments

• Genuine interest in carpentry and the construction industry
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Full‑time apprenticeship with hands‑on experience
• Support and mentoring from experienced tradespeople
• Nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry)
• Training and assessment delivered by Building Industry Training
• Opportunity for ongoing employment upon successful completion
